In 2022, he was the director of talent acquisition at Belle and held the interim position of head of global talent acquisition at Vertex Inc. through WilsonHCG. Between 2017 and 2020, he was the head of talent acquisition at Fleet Farm, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s recruitment strategies.
Mr. Jenkins’s earlier career includes serving as the director of talent acquisition at Northwestern Mutual from 2015 until 2016. His time at Walmart, from 2007 to 2014 as the director of recruiting operations and strategy, stands out as a significant achievement. During this period, he enhanced the integrated solution for applicants by collaborating with vendors and leading implementation projects across multiple regions, including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Japan and South America. His contributions were highly valued by senior leadership.
Prior to joining Walmart, Mr. Jenkins was a talent sourcing manager at Texas Instruments from 2006 until 2007 and the director of human resources at ER Williams Inc. between 2001 and 2006. He began his professional journey as a staffing manager at Bank of America in 2001. Additionally, he has military experience with the U.S. Army, which has contributed to his disciplined approach in his professional endeavors.
Foundational to Mr. Jenkins’s success in human resources and project management was his academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Marquette University in 1984, followed by a Master of Arts in human resource development from the George Washington University in 1996. He also completed the Armor Basic Officer Leader Course at the U.S. Army Armor School.
