DUNWOODY, GA, January 19, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Ashley Nicole Jones has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Jones is an experienced photographer and the founder and executive director of Love Not Lost, a nonprofit organization established in the Greater Atlanta area in 2015 on a mission to help people heal in grief. Love Not Lost will transition names to Momento Foundation in 2024, as they continue expanding to a national level. Through the unique photography program she created, individuals facing a terminal diagnosis receive a portrait session with loved ones, a keepsake box of prints, and membership to their online community–all at no cost to the family. Ms. Jones created two additional programs: a community support program to help people know how to support themselves and others when facing loss, and a corporate care program to bring grief and empathy training to the workplace. She’s a true creative and innovator, coming up with empathetic solutions to some of life’s toughest challenges.

Drawing tremendous success, Ms. Jones has raised over $1 million through grassroots efforts to support Love Not Lost. She is currently scaling the organization nationally and aims to have photographers available in every major city throughout the U.S. to serve families facing a terminal illness.

A personal loss inspired the formation of the 501c3 organization. After her daughter Skylar was diagnosed with a terminal illness at just two months old, Ms. Jones was gifted a photo session to preserve her family’s memories. Those photographs ended up becoming one of the most helpful tools in processing her grief after Skylar’s death. Ms. Jones was determined to help others through this unimaginable pain and began volunteering her time to provide portrait sessions to others facing loss.

Before the launch of Love Not Lost, Ms. Jones owned two other businesses, including Shutter Sweet Photography from 2011 to 2017 as the photographer and chief executive officer and Skylight Creative Group as the chief executive officer, corporate photographer, and graphic designer. Before starting her own companies, she worked as a freelance photographer and graphic designer between 2007 and 2011, was a designer for WebXperts Design Inc. from 2008 to 2009, and a graphic designer for AmeriPress between 2007 and 2008.

Ms. Jones’s wisdom gained from her experiences resulted in her signing a book deal in 2023, which will be published in 2024 with Ripples Media. Her working title is “When You Can’t See the Light,” which will be a daily survival guide for those who have just experienced a devastating loss. She has also been featured on “Tiny Empires,” a web series that can be found on YouTube and Vimeo that follows the journey of an entrepreneur interested in growing her business and positively impacting the world through her work.

Additionally, Ms. Jones was featured in an interview by BBC and was honored to speak at a 2020 TEDx event, sharing “How We Heal in Grief.” She is a key note speaker and enjoys helping people discover a new perspective on life to inspire them to live each day with intention and love. As a dedicated member of her community, Ms. Jones has lent her time and expertise as a volunteer photographer for Help-Portrait, a volunteer graphic designer for other organizations, a mentor for women founders, and a good samaritan. She also served as the documentary photographer for the award-winning documentary film called “Imba Means Sing” featuring the African Children’s Choir of Uganda.

A graduate of Clemson University, Ms. Jones received a Bachelor of Science in graphic communications with a minor in business administration in 2007. She is an alumni of Kappa Delta Sorority and an active member of the Professional Photographers of America.

Ms. Jones was recognized in the Plywood People Idea Competition in 2016. In light of her success, she was subsequently named among the 20 On the Rise by Rising Tide Society in 2018 and one of the Founders Impacting the World in 2020 by CauseArtist.
