Belume Living Sleep is a light based wake up alarm and double window blind combined for light control, heat retention, privacy and a natural wake up. As part of the CES 2023 home automation show in Las Vegas, Belume Living will showcase and showcase its Sleep product at the Venetian booth 50329.

dr Rachel Gawley, CTO of Belume Living, is quoted as saying, “Put simply, it’s a blackout sleeper blind with a built-in light that mimics the sunrise to create a wake-up alarm. As product designers, we knew we had to control the entire lighting experience from your window to create the ideal lighting environment for falling asleep and waking up. First, we create darkness to help you sleep by removing unwanted sunlight, moonlight, and light pollution. Then we create a sunrise wake-up light from your window on your schedule when you want to experience it. We have found that there is only a short period of the year when sunrise is the perfect time for individuals. It’s too late in winter and too early in summer. With Belume Living you can control it all year round to wake up naturally.”

Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the team behind Belume Living is backed and funded by a global manufacturer with local facilities in the UK, EU and US. The team spent much of 2022 in dark rooms to design, design and develop the ideal light to wake up in a window blind.
