He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from Kishinchand Chellaram College in 1997, followed by a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai in 1999. Dr. Desai furthered his academic pursuits with a PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2005. He then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Northwestern University, where he further refined his expertise in the field.
