Dusseldorf – 06/19/2023 – BIXOLON Europe GmbHa subsidiary of BIXOLON, the global manufacturer of modern receipt, label and mobile printers, today launched its next generation SRP-350V And SRP-350plusV 3 inch (80 mm) direct thermal POS printer for the European market.
BIXOLON’s best-selling printer series has been updated and designed for reliable use in a wide range of point-of-sale (POS) printing scenarios according to current market requirements. The receipt printers SRP-350V and SRP-350plusV have therefore been redesigned to offer sustainable printing options and enable the printing of blue receipts; Print speeds have been increased and are faster. and they use the latest connectivity technologies. These affordable printers are ideal for POS printing in retail, grocery and hypermarkets. restaurant and bar scenarios; Take-away food and beverages (e.g. fast food restaurants or cafes); and to support the sale of lottery tickets.
Common features of the SRP-350V and SRP-350plusV printers
These POS printers share a number of common features. They are designed to be compact at the point of sale and not take up much space. The SRP-350V Series supports standalone or vertical printing options and features a dedicated paper exit to prevent paper jams. The intuitive design makes it easy to remove the paper when a paper jam occurs. In addition, BIXOLON has made it easier for users to load paper into the printers efficiently thanks to a simple drop-in paper loading function.
The SRP-350V and SRP-350plusV printers have also been manufactured with improved near-end and mechanical sensors to ensure print compatibility with Koehler’s Blue4estâ thermal paper in situations where greener consumables are to be used. This has been complemented by a Visibility Intelligence sensor that allows the printer to automatically detect either white or blue receipt media and optimize print quality accordingly.
These printers both feature an LED display that offers user-friendly features and support a paper saving feature that allows businesses to save up to 25% on paper per roll; over three levels of compression; through a unified utility that requires no software changes for users. For busy kitchen environments there is also an optional order notification feature available via an external buzzer or B-Melodist (an audible and visual indicator for BIXOLON’s desktop printers). These POS printers also come with a range of accessories; including splash-proof cover, wall bracket, vertical stand and SMP (built-in special printer base) for integrating a power supply for BIXOLON printers.
The SRP-350plusV – Retail, restaurants and bars, lottery and hypermarket applications
The SRP-350plusV effectively prints text, barcodes and images at speeds of up to 400mm/sec. at a print resolution of 180 dpi. That’s 33% faster than the previous model; In addition, it offers better graphic quality control through grayscale and dithering. The interface options are extensive and are made possible with an all-in-one plusTM Interface from BIXOLON that includes USB V2-0 and Ethernet as standard and optional serial, parallel, powered USB, Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity.
The SRP-350plusV is also compatible with the BIXOLON XPMTM Printer management tool that provides businesses with easy integration, management and administration tools to install and manage these printers throughout their IT and printing environment.
The SRP-350V – Retail, restaurants and bars, fast food restaurants and coffee applications
The SRP-350V enables receipt printing at speeds of up to 300mm/sec. at 180 dpi. That’s 20% faster than its predecessor. The interface options differ slightly, but are still wide and varied. The printer connection options include standard USB V2.0 and optional serial, parallel or Ethernet. Easy paper loading is complemented with this printer by a manual cutter included as standard.
