Mr. Lewis-Hardy is a compliance professional who has dedicated his career to ensuring regulatory compliance for programs in education and human services. Inspired by his mother and grandmother, who pursued their goals despite social and economic obstacles, Mr. Lewis-Hardy attended high school at the selective North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics and completed coursework at North Carolina State University before beginning his career. He continued his education as an established professional, earning an Associate of Applied Sciences in business administration at Forsyth Technical Community College in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2010. Despite initially considering law school, Mr. Lewis-Hardy pursued his passion for psychology at The Chicago School, which awarded him a Master of Arts in forensic psychology in 2014.

Early in his professional journey, Mr. Lewis-Hardy held administrative roles with PPD Pharmaco Inc., Thermo-Fisher Scientific Inc, Tascor Ltd., and the Salutation Consortium, among others. After serving as a Y2K project coordinator for Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, earning a reputation for attention to detail and big-picture thinking, he transitioned into higher education in 2000 as a clerkship administrator for Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Wake Forest Baptist Health. Mr. Lewis-Hardy continued to gain experience in educational administration with Wake Forest University until 2008, working concurrently in a customer service sales leadership position for Dick’s Sporting Goods between 2006 and 2010. He returned to higher education administration and compliance in 2010 when he joined ITT Technical Institute, rising to become director of finance in 2013.

Building on his work with Wake Forest University and ITT Technical Institute, Mr. Lewis-Hardy became a financial aid professional for MyComputerCareer in 2016, rising to become the military education benefits director in 2017 and a federal programs compliance specialist in 2019, and developing an internal tool that predicted student financial aid funding to a 99.6% accuracy. Since 2023, Mr. Lewis-Hardy is the senior vice president of compliance accreditation and professional services for Intellectual Point, where he is responsible for ensuring compliance throughout the organization, including managing government contracts, audits and internal reviews, and policy development. In recognition of his high achievement with Intellectual Point, Mr. Lewis-Hardy has been presented with such accolades as a 2022 Impact Award and a 2023 Core Values Award.

As an expert in his specialty, Mr. Lewis-Hardy is a board member for the Association of Veteran Education Certifying Officials and has been an active professional for organizations including the National Association of Veteran Program Administrators, the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, and the Southern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. He is also a former staff advisor for Student Veterans of America and campaign manager for United Way Worldwide, and is certified in mental health first aid.
