Since 2023, Dr Zilli Vieira has joined Cyprus Harvard Endowment Program for the Environment and Public Health, a program established due to a significant gap in Cyprus’ public health research. Throughout her career, Dr. Zilli Vieira’s pioneering research and dedication to public health education have garnered widespread acclaim. Her most notable achievement includes her groundbreaking project at Harvard, which established a new area of study focusing on the interaction between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and air pollution in the environment.
Dr. Zilli Vieira’s academic journey commenced with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho in 2001, followed by a PhD in cardiovascular science from the Medical School University of São Paulo in 2009, and a postgraduate degree in environmental health from the prestigious Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2019. She also holds a certification in pathology from Faculdade Sao Leopoldo Mandic, which she earned in 2006.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Zilli Vieira remains actively involved in various civic and community initiatives.
