To date, Mr. Aldrich cites his most recent achievement as obtaining the utility patent 11,796,294 for his precision decimal inch tape measure, the design of which does not use fractions and thereby eliminates the need for conversion time and errors in measurement.

For its precision and practicality, Mr. Aldrich’s precision decimal inch tape measure is relied upon by engineers and assemblers at organizations of note, including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, three year olds learn numbers, counting and measuring using a precision decimal inch tape measure while in preschool.
