Professor Griffiths spent his professional life in the field of medical virology. He has an international reputation and an unrivalled expertise in the effects of viruses on patients and their families. His book The Stealth Virus, brings medical virology to life and is dedicated to those affected by CMV and those working to eliminate it.

“I was surprised and delighted to be notified of the award which showcases the work of the whole research team over many years.
