Ms. Williams is a business owner and distinguished professional working in the field of mechanical engineering and product development. After gaining nearly 15 years of experience, she founded her own company, Good inTents, where she has served as the chief executive officer since 2022. Day to day, she oversees product development, quality control, creative design and project management and leverages her expertise in creating exceptional products that provide users with joyous experiences—all while excelling in sales, marketing, and customer service as well.
Prior to establishing Good inTents, Ms. Williams began her career journey as a research assistant at Northeastern University in 2009, where she contributed to the Neural Control of the Zebrafish Locomotive Repertoire Research. Thereafter, she gained practical mechanical engineering and product development experience through various cooperative positions, including roles at Draper Laboratory, Stratasys and Fikst from 2010 to 2013 before graduating from Northeastern University in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in materials science. Together, her early experiences and education laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors in product development and engineering.
In 2013, Ms. Williams joined Eaton Lighting as a product-sustaining engineer before being promoted to a design engineer role within the same company in 2016. Her tenure at Eaton Lighting spanned nearly five years, during which time she honed her skills in mechanical engineering design and product sustainability. In 2017, she moved to ARC Group Worldwide Inc., first as a New Product Development (NPD) Project Engineer, where her contributions were instrumental in advancing their new product development initiatives.
Following her time at ARC Group Worldwide, Ms. Williams served as a Senior Product Development Engineer and CMF Designer on the environmental and social impact team at PopSockets from 2018 to 2022. During her tenure there, her work focused on creating socially responsible products that made a positive impact on communities worldwide. Then, in 2022, she pursued her entrepreneurial path to design an exceptional product that would spark joy for others. Driven by her love of camping and the belief that the experience is a beautiful way to align with nature and positively support individuals’ mental health, she founded Good inTents, where she continues to lead with innovative product excellence and a dedication to spreading loving kindness.

Ms. Williams aims to make a positive impact in Colorado’s small business community as well. Along with being a Founding Member of Invisible City, she actively participates in Denver Startup Week, Rockies Venture Club, Spark Collective, Thunderview CEO Dinners, Unstoppable Women’s Business Conference, Startup Colorado, and Colorado SBDC with plans to join West Slope Startup Week and Conscious Entrepreneur Summit this years. Looking ahead, Ms. Williams aims to grow her company further while fostering an impactful community that sparks joy and spreads loving kindness with a mission to explore more.
