Donna Russell Link Celebrated for Dedication to the Field of Education

In recognition of her outstanding body of work, Ms. Link was nominated for a Teacher of the Year Award and won the John Philip Sousa Award.

Driven to support students and educators, Ms. Link presently excels as the owner of Great Way to Teach, LLC, through which she provides one-on-one and group coaching. As an educational coach and chief instructional officer, she helps teachers make positive change in the lives of their students, guides teachers in fostering their emotional intelligence and mental fitness, and drives them to achieve their full potential. Prior to establishing Great Way to Teach, Ms. Link was a caregiver for her mother and worked as an academic advisor specializing in educational administration, leadership, and research for Western Kentucky University.

During the early stages of her career, Ms. Link gained valuable expertise in the field of education as the associate executive director, education consultant, and director of exceptional children for the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative. For a decade and a half, she also worked in various districts as an educator. An expert in her field, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Western Kentucky University. Similarly, Ms. Link received a special education certification through Morehead State University.

Driven to remain abreast of ongoing industry changes, Ms. Link aligns herself with the Christian Educators Association, Phi Kappa Phi, and the National Education Association. Alongside her work, she also contributes to her community through the local Humane Society.

In recognition of her outstanding body of work, Ms. Link was nominated for a Teacher of the Year Award and won the John Philip Sousa Award. Though her career has been filled with standout moments, she is most proud of positively impacting the lives of children through the personalized learning initiatives she has collaboratively implemented with more than $40 million in grants.
