In this capacity, he co-owns DKM (Damn Kids Motorsports) Fabrication, a race car design and manufacture company based in Hagaman, New York, alongside engineer and friend of almost 40 years Dave Constantino. Since 2012, he has focused his efforts on managing the accounting aspects of the company while working hands on with the staff including working on setups, building and overseeing the racing of the cars.
Mr. Mack works with the local community and its neighbors in conjunction with the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. He also offers free services to local organizations. In addition to his professional achievements, he is proud to have been featured in various sports and racing magazines throughout his career. His company was named Montgomery County’s August Small Business of the Month in 2021 by County Executive Matthew L. Ossenfort and the Montgomery County Business Development Center. He himself was listed as one of the Top 30 Auto Mechanics and Builders and was inducted into the Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame in 2022.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Mack began his career in the construction industry and owned The Caboose in Gloversville, New York for five years. He then owned Shorty’s Southside Tavern in Amsterdam, New York for three years and lent his expertise to run a friend’s nightclub in Saratoga, New York.
Looking ahead, Mr. Mack intends to continue to build the success of his company, including keeping his employees engaged and ensuring they are always healthy and happy. He has worked on race cars since he was 11 and has an abiding passion for the sport, having won every major dirt race as Crew Chief multiple times over his dedicated career.
