In his professional career, Mr. Rabbani Nayan Bangalee has also served as an Attorney with the Bangladesh Supreme Court, as a Registered Foreign Counsel for the California State Attorney’s Office, and as a Registered Social Worker with the Michigan State Department. Between 2004 and 2006 he gained expertise as a youth ambassador for the Commonwealth Youth Program (CYP).
Before starting his professional career, Mr. Rabbani Nayan Bangalee was educated at Dhaka University where he received a Masters in Social Work with Honors (First Class, First Position). He also completed his MBA at Dhaka University. He is a research associate at Liberty University (one of the largest campus universities in the world) in Virginia. He earned a Certificate on Social Work in Politics from the State University of Michigan. He completed his Diploma in Leadership and Ethics at Harvard Kennedy School while living in self-exile in the United States.
Mr. Rabbani Nayan Bangalee is highly respected for his contributions in this field and has received several awards including the Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh’s National Youth Award in 2004, the Mahatma Gandhi Award in 2006, the Atish Dipankar Award in 2009 and the Presidential Award Awarded by the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in 2005, just to name a few. Among his professional achievements, he is most proud of his passion for ensuring social equality between Bangladesh’s diverse political parties. Looking to the future, Mr. Rabbani Nayan Bangalee aspires to return to Bangladesh to campaign as a political educator and hopes to continuously educate the young political leaders in his country on the effective methods of good leadership.
