CHESAPEAKE, VA, December 08, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ — Grant A. Waldron has been inducted into Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Following more than a decade of service in the U.S. Navy, Mr. Waldron accepted a position as the Chief Financial Officer of Marcari Russotto Spencer & Balaban, a law firm specializing in personal injury cases. With a case load focusing on everything from minor accidents to catastrophic injuries, the firm is also known for its dedicated veterans’ department, which focuses on assisting individuals with U.S. Veterans Administration claims, including the water contamination litigation brought about by the Camp Lejeune Justice Act.

As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Waldron is charged with managing Marcari Russotto Spencer & Balaban’s business costs and overseeing strategic planning for the future. Additionally, his role requires careful collaboration with other leaders within the firm to develop financial benchmarks and ensure that they are met. His achievements as CFO have earned Mr. Waldron recognition as a Publication Finance and Investing Top 25 CFO of Virginia for 2023.

Prior to joining the law firm in 2022, Mr. Waldron served six years as the finance manager/comptroller for the Navy Public Affairs Support Element Headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia, where, among other successes, he led a team that overhauled deployment kits for all sailors. Earlier in his military career, he served as transportation analyst for the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support and Assistant Supply Officer, Sales Officer and Disbursing Officer for the USS OSCAR AUSTIN (DDG 79). Unfortunately, Mr. Waldron’s successful naval career came to an end when a back injury forced him to medically retire; however, he departed with extensive planning, programming and budgeting expertise that now helps him to excel in the private sector, where he is committed to ensuring clients receive the compensation they deserve.

Mr. Waldron holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, where he competed as a Varsity Gymnast. He is certified as an emergency medical technician and served as a volunteer EMT for the City of Virginia Beach for five years. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his supportive wife, Erica, a Nurse currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner degree, and their three children.
