While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in successfully completing the Elephant Pharmacy project, a LEED retail Pilot Program involving a complex design. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his elementary school education, which served as a foundation for his current skills, his close-knit family, and such mentors as Mike McCall, Bill Triplett, Wayne Barcelon, Irving Gonzalez, and Daniel Perez. Within the coming years, Mr. Perez intends to maintain involvement in the field through mentoring positions after retiring.
