Prior to working as a school nurse, Ms. Campos owned Noga Farms where she managed agricultural operations and honed her entrepreneurial skills. She began her career in nursing with several positions, including working as a marketing admissions nurse at Gainesville Health and Rehabilitation Center, as a field nurse at Victory Home Health and Hospice, as a floor nurse at Grayson County Jail, as a hospice nurse at Home Hospice of Grayson County, and as a medical/surgical nurse at Texoma Medical Center. Together, these roles allowed Ms. Campos to develop a deep understanding of patient care and health care management and showcased her dedication to community welfare.
Along with her experience, Ms. Campos’ educational background includes licensed vocational nurse training at North Central Texas College, which she completed in 2000. This foundational education equipped her with the necessary skills for her initial nursing roles and laid the groundwork for her subsequent success in various professional capacities.
