Her academic contributions also include her time as an adjunct professor at the University of New Haven from 2015 to 2017 and as an associate research scientist at Yale University School of Medicine from 2013 to 2017. Dr. Munday honed her research skills as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia’s School of Population and Public Health from 2012 to 2013 and as a predoctoral fellow at The National Institutes of Health from 2008 to 2012. She also gained valuable teaching experience as a teaching associate at San Diego State University and as a research fellow at Moores Cancer Center, UCSD during the same period. Her early career included roles such as health policy intern for the U.S. House of Representatives in 2007 and neuropsychometrician at Kathryn Severyns Dement Sleep Disorders Center of the St. Mary Medical Center from 2005 to 2006.

The foundation of Dr. Munday’s expertise was built upon her academic achievements, which include earning a doctorate in preventive medicine and health behavioral research from UC San Diego in 2012, a Master of Public Health in health policy from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2008, and a Bachelor of Arts in biopsychology from Whitman College in 2005.
