Ms. Kingdon holds the title of physician services (PS) director at Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) HealthONE.
AURORA, CO, February 22, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Jenny Kingdon, MBA, has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
For nearly two decades, Ms. Kingdon has gained experience in marketing, sales, business development and operations in the health care sector, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Throughout her career, she has built and retained high-performance teams by organizing, developing, and motivating skilled professionals. Currently, Ms. Kingdon holds the title of physician services (PS) director at Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) HealthONE.
Prior to occupying her current leadership role, Ms. Kingdon started her career in 2005 as an administrative assistant of business development at HealthONE, a position she maintained while working toward pursuing a Master of Business Administration in health care administration from the University of Phoenix in 2008. She was promoted to service line manager and continued in that role at HealthONE until rising to the position of clinic manager and marketer of imaging. She continued to grow with the company until she joined The Denver Hospice as a liaison in 2010, a position she held for nearly five years.
For several years thereafter, Ms. Kingdon applied her managerial experience at SCL Health, serving as their manager of physician relations. In 2016, she returned to HealthONE to work as a program director. In 2019, she was sought out to join Physician Services within HCA. In reflecting on the trajectory of her career thus far, Ms. Kingdon notes that part of her professional journey entailed leaving a large company system to pursue other opportunities within the health care world, which broaden her perspective and led to her becoming a more well-rounded professional in her field.
In all she has achieved, Ms. Kingdon attributes her success to the mentorship she received, her ability to self-advocate, and both her knack for working in administration and the professional development she pursues during her own free time, such as reading leadership development books and serves as chair of the HealthONE Women’s Network. Overall, she is most proud of her overarching development and for being able to share her successes, such as receiving the Shining Star Award, with others, particularly other female professionals in her field.
As she continues to move forward in this phase of her career, Ms. Kingdon, a member of the Colorado Medical Group Management Association, aims to continue to excel and grow in her operations role at HCA Healthcare. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Kingdon volunteers for the Food Bank of the Rockies and serves as a troop leader for Girl Scouts of the USA.
