Ms. Klersy is the founding partner of Klersy Law, P.C., where she specializes in estate planning, elder law and special needs. Her aspiration to become an attorney was fueled by her personal experiences. Through this experience and observing the mistreatment of others with disabilities, she was inspired to protect those who could not protect themselves.

Since establishing her firm in 2024, Ms. Klersy has dedicated herself to assisting clients in safeguarding their assets in case they become disabled and end up in a nursing home or require home care. By safeguarding their assets, her clients can have their assets be distributed to their family members instead of being required to either utilize or sell and utilize their assets to pay for his or her care. Although she works with a diverse range of families, her expertise mainly extends to families with elder law and children with special needs. Prior to founding her own practice, Ms. Klersy served as an associate attorney at the following firms: Andreoli Law Group PC from 2023 to 2024; Trivella & Forte LLP from 2021 to 2023; Tully Law Group PC from 2020 to 2021; at Davidow, Davidow Siegel & Stern LLP in from 2019 to 2020; Finally, she contributed to Mazloumi Law from 2018 to 2019 and at Twomey, Latham, Shea, Kelley, Dubin & Quartararo from 2017 to 2018, after working as a legal intern in 2016. That same year, she gained valuable experience as a student clinician at the Elder Law Clinic at Touro Law Center. In her final semester of law school, she was selected as 1 of 4 students chosen to be a pro bono scholar at Touro Law Center. The Pro Bono Scholar program allowed her to take the bar exam before graduating and complete over 500 pro bono hours at Nassau Suffolk Law Services where she assisted women in domestic violence relationships obtain orders of protection, custody and child support for themselves and their children.

As a result of her early dedication to public service, Ms. Klersy was recognized with the Pro Bono Scholars Program Award from New York State in 2017 as well as with the Honorable Joel A. Asarch Elder Law and Special Needs Section Scholarship that same year. In May 2017, she graduated with a Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. After graduation, Ms. Klersy was admitted to the New York State Bar only three weeks after graduating from Law School. Along with her law degree, she holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Saint Joseph’s College, which she obtained in 2013. As a result of her professional work, Ms. Klersy is a member of the Special Needs Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association. Furthermore, she maintains her affiliation with Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity and the National Certified Elder Law Association.

In all she has pursued Ms. Klersy attributes her success to the unwavering support of her family and close friends. In reflecting on her career, she cites her most significant accomplishment as successfully handling her first trust litigation case, achieving a favorable result for her client. A milestone that brought not only her but her client immense happiness and solidified her passion for elder law and special needs advocacy. In addition to her paid legal work, Ms. Klersy is actively involved in civic organizations, such as volunteering at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her company by branching out further west and hiring additional attorneys and staff to assist with the growing workload.
