He adeptly manages legal operations, oversees individuals providing sales and procurement support, handles corporate governance, subsidiary management, intellectual property matters, and addresses any number of multinational issues, including ethics and compliance, tax, and labor and employment. His previous roles as the General Counsel for TigerConnect, Inc., Narvar Inc., and Marin Software Incorporated further underscore his professional achievements.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. DeGooyer gained valuable expertise with such companies as Hewlett-Packard Inc. (HP), where he managed several teams of attorneys and contract negotiators, as well as the law offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Steefel, Levitt & Weiss. Prior to law school, he developed his professional skills working for a number of individuals and entities both on Capitol Hill and in California, including Superior National Insurance Group (formerly CalComp), the American Association of Private Practice Psychiatrists (AAPPP), the law offices of Leach & English, The Honorable Constance A. Morella (R-MD), and The Honorable Dianne Feinstein (D-CA).
Mr. DeGooyer also has made significant contributions to the community. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government, with a Minor in Law and Society from Skidmore College in 1993 and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco’s School of Law in 2002. Outside of his professional and educational endeavors, he contributed to both the operating and legacy advisory boards of The Milagro Foundation (founded by Carlos Santana), which helps under-resourced children worldwide gain access to education, health, and the arts. Mr. DeGooyer currently serves on the board of directors of the Ross Valley Lacrosse Club and is a member of the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Justice & Diversity Center. His dedication to serving the community is further demonstrated by his years-long commitment to coaching several sports teams through various organizations.

While his professional life has been filled with rewarding moments, Mr. DeGooyer is most proud of marrying his wife Margaret in 2005 and subsequently raising two happy, healthy and athletic children. Mr. DeGooyer and his family currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
