Ms. VanHoose has leveraged several years of excellence in the criminal justice system and is recognized as the founder and author of the Xtreme Dreams Foundation Of ATLANTA Inc. Since 2019, she has focused her efforts on community building through working with at-risk youth, coordinating various events for the community such as back-to-school drives, toy drives and plaque donations. The foundation also has a sports service with a basketball team that supports young athletes who dream of playing professional sports. Among her works, she authored God Used My Messages For His Messages, published by Christian Faith Publishing in 2018, and she uses proceeds from her book to support her nonprofit organization.
Before beginning her private career, Ms. VanHoose served six years with honors as a senior airman for the United States Air Force. In recognition of her dedicated work, she was awarded numerous medals. After her military service, she worked for two years with the Corrections Department at Hays State Prison and then for a year with the Department of Juvenile Justice in Gainesville, Georgia.
Prior to embarking on her professional career, Ms. VanHoose earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and corrections from American InterContinental University in 2018. Among her professional achievements, she was awarded a Silver Seal of Transparency by Candid in 2022 for her outstanding work at her nonprofit.
In the years to come, Ms. VanHoose intends to build her foundation to the point where it will be recognized around the world and receive a humanitarian award for her work. She also aspires to be listed as one of America’s Black Women and to create a physical space for her foundation within the next year or two.
