Mr. Paiva was born in Natal, Brazil in 1985 and moved to the city of São Paulo at the age of 18. He had a deep passion for politics and the legislative process and has always strived to serve as an inspiration to those seeking the American Dream. He studied law at Paulista University, where he received a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2010. After graduating, he worked as a paralegal at Robortella e Peres Advogados. However, faced with a flawed political system, legal uncertainty and a general lack of opportunity, he decided to change careers and emigrated to the United States, where he redefined himself in the construction industry.
At the beginning of his trip in Florida, Mr. Paiva was fluent in English and went on to study business administration. During this time, he earned multiple certifications in entrepreneurship, business operations, office protocols, and strategic business leadership, most notably from Harvard University Extension School. Committed to long-term growth, he is currently pursuing a master’s degree in project management from the Florida Institute of Technology.
During his education, Mr. Paiva served in a variety of home construction roles, including being an intern at Ciel Power, an office administrator for Hardscapers of Central Florida, and a field service inspector at Lennar Homes, where he saved the company more than $2 million in just two years of activity. He is currently a buyer for Dream Finders Homes. In this role, he specializes in supply planning, supplier selection, cost analysis and budgeting, quality assurance, and contract management. During his time at Dream Finders, he has earned a reputation for instilling trust not only in his superiors but also in those with whom he does business. Hoping to continue his climb up the career ladder at Dream Finders, Mr. Paiva ultimately hopes to start his own business in the home construction market once he gains enough experience.
