London IT support company Sereno receives Cyber Essentials Plus certification.

Sereno IT support has achieved a significant cybersecurity milestone in its business and has been awarded Cyber Essentials Plus (CE+) certification, a UK Government backed, industry-backed certification for cybersecurity.
The certification shows that the company’s policies and procedures are strong enough to protect against cyber threats. CE+ requires independent verification by an external auditor who conducts a series of technical assessments to ensure the organization is protected against various attack scenarios. The rating rated:

- patch management
- User Access Controls
- malware protection
- Mobile Assets
IASME, an independent certification body for the Cyber Essentials program, awarded the certification, which is renewable every 12 months. A total of around 1000 digital assets were included in the assessment.

Cyber Essential is a government-backed program that helps businesses protect themselves from cyberattacks.
It was introduced by the UK government’s National Cyber Security Center (NCSC).
