SANGER, CA, May 06, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ — Lucinda K. Boragno has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

A native of Fresno County, California, Ms. Boragno’s path toward success was paved throughout her formative years, during which time she graduated from Del Rey Union Elementary School, with honors, and Sanger High School. After completing undergraduate coursework at Reedley College, she concluded her academic efforts at California State University, Fresno, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1979. Operating with a mindset grounded in treating others the way that she wants to be treated, Ms. Boragno was also greatly influenced by her parents, who instilled in her a heart for honesty and empathy, as well as morals, values, and a perspective that prioritizes accountability in her words and actions.

Ms. Boragno has since established herself as an esteemed songwriter, lyricist, poet, author, farmer and educator, having primarily written in the country music genre with songs focusing on her life in San Joaquin Valley, California. She was formerly managed by her late husband, Kevin L. Peachy, a reputable musician in his own right who encouraged her outside of his work with celebrities including Willie Nelson. Likewise, Ms. Boragno fondly recalls receiving commendations from Tony Coleman, of B.B. King fame, who believed her songs came from her heart and her mind’s eye, as she said.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Ms. Boragno has excelled as the sole owner of California Cowgirls Unlimited since 2014, which she previously co-owned and established in 2004 with the late Gail Jensen Carradine, widow of actor David Carradine. A lifelong friend of Ms. Carradine, the pair were inspired to launch California Cowgirls Unlimited by the nature around them in California. Believing they were cut from the same cloth, Ms. Boragno dedicated her time and attention to the business as a rancher, as well as performing administrative tasks. Prior to Ms. Carradine’s passing, the duo had been hard at work writing a cookbook. Gail referred to Ms. Boragno as “the driving force of California Cowgirls Unlimited.”

As the owner of California Cowgirls Unlimited, Ms. Boragno patrols her property every morning and checks to make sure the ranch is safe, secure and in balance, and that all is well and in harmony with nature. She ensures that the crops are doing well, as are the doves, the quails, the bunnies, the dogs and even the frogs. As horses graze in the neighboring grounds, she also cares for the “California Cowgirls K-9 Cadets,” including Smokey, Bandit, Tinka, Jackie, Rascal, Boomer, Haus and Peanut. She also provides unlimited boundaries for abandoned dogs, whom she fosters and provides sanctuary as to best ensure their health and well-being. Ms. Boragno has additionally contributed to her local church through her charity work.

During her time at Reedley College, Ms. Boragno received a number of honors that helped cement her ambitious future. Notably, Reedley College presented her with their prestigious Charles B. Garrigus Award. Moreover, she graduated from Reedley College among the Top 10 of all graduating students. Ms. Boragno has since been distinguished as a lifetime member of the California Scholarship Federation at Sanger High School and Alpha Gamma Sigma at Reedley College.

Among the many motivating factors that have driven her to thrive in her field, Ms. Boragno expresses eternal gratitude to the endorsement that she has received from multiple celebrities, including actor Harrison Ford, musician Tanya Tucker and singer David Somerville of The Diamonds. Looking toward the future, she hopes to continue caring for her parents’ 80-acre estate. Furthermore, Ms. Boragno plans to preserve the legacy of her husband and Ms. Carradine through her songwriting.
