Bush’s tax adviser for small businesses and advised on water problems and legislation during Bush’s presidency.

Dr. Beagles’ academic background is equally impressive. He earned a Bachelor of Science in quantum physics from Uppsala University in Sweden in 1987 and completed a minor in mining engineering at Hamburg University in Germany in 1974. He holds two doctorates: one in hydrogeology and platinum refining from the School of Mining, Geology and Geotechnology in the Soviet Union and another in hydrogeology with a minor in metallurgy from Kama Academy, both obtained in 1973.
Throughout his career, Dr. Beagles has visited 34 countries and mined in nine of them. His work ethic, instilled by his grandfather and father, has been pivotal to his success. He attributes his entry into the profession to his grandfather, who founded Mother Lode Mining in California in 1937.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Beagles is actively involved with civic-minded organizations. Since 2000, he has been involved with the Cal-Neva Water Quality Research Institute and the Lori Jane Foundation, and he served as chairman of the National Business Advisory Council from 2002 to 2008. He has received numerous accolades, including three Ronald Reagan Republican Gold Medal Awards from 2004 to 2006, Businessman of the Year in 2003 and the Congressional Order of Merit. In his personal life, Dr. Beagles is passionate about ballroom dancing, fishing and traveling. He is a father to three children and envisions himself as an innovator who brought transformative technologies to the mining industry. He aims to leverage a U.S. Department of Defense gold grant to establish a rare earth element refining facility using black sand ores under his control.
