Hailing from over two decades of expertise in business intelligence and data analytics, Ms. Jones has distinguished herself through her work in the health care industry. Since joining Brevard Health Alliance Inc. in 2014, she has ascended through various roles, showcasing her versatility and commitment to excellence. Initially serving as a clinical project manager until 2018, she was responsible for overseeing clinical projects, ensuring they were completed on time and within budget. Her adept ability to manage complex projects led to her promotion to quality improvement specialist, a role she held from 2018 to 2020. In this capacity, Ms. Jones was instrumental in enhancing the quality of health care services through meticulous data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
In 2020, Ms. Jones was promoted to business intelligence analyst at Brevard Health, through which she has since generated daily reports, analyzed workflow, and provided training to the quality team, among other duties. Her contributions have not only improved organizational performance but have also been recognized by her peers and superiors alike. One of her proudest moments came when she was chosen as Employee of the Quarter by the Chief Information Officer Michael Garvey along with her team, an accolade that underscored the quality of her work and dedication.
Ms. Jones’ professional journey began long before her tenure at Brevard Health, with roles at The BACK Center as a patient financial services specialist from 2012 to 2014, Medical Data Systems as a secondary insurance research coordinator from 2009 to 2012, and Omni Healthcare as a medical records coordinator from 2008 to 2009. Each position contributed to her comprehensive understanding of the health care sector and honed her skills in various facets of administration and finance.
Ms. Jones earned a bachelor’s degree in health information management from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2007 and furthered her education with a master’s degree in health informatics at Purdue Global in 2020. Additionally, she holds an Information Technology Certification from the Technology Study Program, completed in 2003. Ms. Jones attributes her success to her drive for independence and the desire to make her family proud by embodying the values they instilled in her.
Outside of her professional life, Ms. Jones is deeply involved in community service through organizations such as Family Promise of Brevard and serving as a youth director for Red Circle Girls at her church. She also contributes to a local women’s shelter and food pantry. Her personal life is enriched by activities such as surfing, relaxing, spending time in the library with her son, learning new things, and gardening. Embracing each moment as it comes, Ms. Jones believes in living without rigid plans but with a readiness to face whatever challenges or opportunities life presents.
