With over two decades of experience in her profession, she has been with Apple since 2017, where she manages a team of talented engineering program managers. Her responsibilities include managing various programs focused on delivering and improving both internal and external tools and systems. She does this by understanding, scheduling, and executing projects, while partnering with various engineering partners and business stakeholders. Her expertise in Apple’s Services Engineering organization are widely recognized.
Prior to her role at Apple, Ms. Salvatore held the position of senior program manager for Sales Operations’ Technology Portfolio Management at NetApp from 2016 to 2017. At NetApp, she also served as a program manager in the marketing technology office from 2014 to 2016, where she began her career in program management and honed her skills in managing complex software projects, establishing a robust program intake process, and collaborating with diverse teams.
Ms. Salvatore’s career began in the credit union industry at the age of 17 through a program called the Computer Academy offered through her high school. Ms. Salvatore worked her way to becoming a web engineer and user interface lead at Addison Avenue Federal Credit Union from 2003 to 2011. During this time, she played a pivotal role in developing the first in-house online banking system for the credit union, which later became First Technology Federal Credit Union. Her innovative work on two-factor authentication earned her recognition as a finalist in the Computerworld Honors Program in 2010. She also continued her work outside the credit union to focus on financial education. Ms. Salvatore received the Best User Interface Award from iOS Developer Camp in 2011 for developing a Kids’ Banking app. Her academic background includes a Master of Business Administration in information technology from Golden Gate University in 2014, a Master of Science in web design and development from Golden Gate University in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the University of San Francisco in 2002. These educational achievements have been instrumental in her career success. She is currently working on getting a Professional Coaching certificate recognized by the International Coaching Federation.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Salvatore is actively involved in civic-minded organizations. She mentors second- and third-grade students as well as high schoolers through her local church and has volunteered with several organizations that serve diverse and underrepresented communities such as Black Girls Code, Hidden Genius Project & College Track, demonstrating her commitment to empowering young individuals. Her dedication to community service reflects her belief in the importance of recognizing when others need help and assisting them whenever possible. She hopes to inspire future generations, encouraging everyone to pursue their goals without giving up. In her personal life, Ms. Salvatore enjoys spending time with her family and their beloved dog.
