Mr. Anyanwu most recently served as the Chief Information Officer for multiple Top 100 accounting firms including Macias Gini & O’Connell LLP aka MGO (2024 to Present), Aprio LLP (2023 to 2024), and Aronson LLC (2019 to 2022). At Aronson LLC, he also established a technology and security advisory practice which he led as the director from 2021 to 2022. During his tenure at Aronson, he notably built a technology-enabled office and led technology platform enhancements that facilitated a seamless transition to virtual operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. This achievement contributed to the firm being recognized as an Accounting Today Best Firms for Technology in 2021.
Mr. Anyanwu’s career also includes serving as the Director of Information Technology at Capgemini Government Solutions from 2017 to 2019. He has held senior leadership roles with Deloitte (2004 to 2016) and Slalom Consulting. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University and Montgomery College.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Anyanwu is a member of the Society for Information Management Capital Area Chapter (SIMCAC). His dedication to technology operations and strategy has earned him recognition as IT Management Professional of the Year by AOTMP in 2022. His certifications include Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Project Management Professional (PMP) among others.
