Ms. D’Agostino-Vigil’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2002, a Master of Arts in human resources and labor relations from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 2004, and a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from Regis University in 2018. Additionally, she received numerous credentials that have been instrumental to her career. Among them, Ms. D’Agostino-Vigil is recognized as a licensed addiction counselor and a licensed professional counselor through the State of Colorado. She also holds national certifications as a nationally credentialed counselor, an approved clinical supervisor, and an approved continuing education provider from the National Board for Certified Counselors. She was in the first civilian cohort to be trained by the Department of Veteran Affairs’ PTSD Center in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for the treatment of PTSD. Moreover, she held a senior professional in human resources (SPHR) certification for over two decades from the Human Resources Certification Institute and a certified co-active coach through the Coaches Training Institute.

Active civically, Ms. D’Agostino-Vigil has been a provider for Colorado Medicaid (now Health First Colorado) and launched a sliding scale program. Her contributions have been recognized with several awards. Most notably, her practice received several community-voted awards for Best Behavioral Mental Health Therapy from the City of Westminster, Colorado, in 2023 and 2022 and was named Best in Colorado for Behavioral Health Therapy by ColoradoBiz in 2024.
