During this time, he honed his skills in engineering and project management, contributing significantly to the company’s success in the commercial pool sector. His tenure at Paddock Pools laid the foundation for his future achievements and established him as a leader in the industry. Previously, he was an engineering aide for the City of Chandler, Arizona, before venturing into commercial construction.
Mr. Fletcher’s career is further distinguished by his affiliation with the United Aqua Group, an organization that underscores his commitment to excellence in aquatic design and construction. Over the course of his career spanning nearly five decades, he has been pivotal in executing more than 500 major projects valued at $100 million that showcase his creativity and technical expertise. His work ranges from luxurious residential pools with intricate landscaping to large-scale commercial installations that transform public spaces. Testifying to its success, Presidential Pools and Spas has been named the #1 company in residential pools in the Phoenix market for the past six years. Likewise, it was named the Best of Aquatics and Best Fitness Center by Aquatics International Magazine in 2013.
Academically, Mr. Fletcher received a Graduate Master II certification in business administration and management from Rapport Leadership International in 2005. He also studied drafting and design technology at Mesa Community College between 1977 and 1980. Additionally, he obtained an ROC Contractor certification from Presidential Pools & Spas in 2008. Mr. Fletcher’s upbringing as one of eight siblings in a military family provided him with unique experiences that have influenced his professional journey. To this end, he adapted to frequent relocations across diverse locations such as Alabama, Mississippi, Germany and Greece before settling in Arizona. This background instilled in him the values of resilience and adaptability, qualities that have been crucial throughout his career.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Fletcher is actively involved in civic organizations. He has served as the golf chairperson for the Arizona Softball Foundation since 2001 and is dedicated to offering scholarships to disadvantaged young women pursuing a collegiate education. Remarkably, his philanthropic contributions earned him induction into the Arizona Softball Hall of Fame.
In his personal life, Mr. Fletcher enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathleen, and their six children. He finds relaxation through golfing and spending weekends in his cabin.
