Miss. Kasapi is an associate and senior project designer at Steinberg Hart, where she has made significant contributions for over a decade in the industry. She is currently managing a project at the Institute of Music for Children in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she oversees client meetings, site visits, and architectural design. Her expertise spans a range of cultural work, including visual and performing arts centers, libraries, and educational facilities. As an associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), she is recognized for her dedication to architectural excellence and professional achievements.

Miss. Kasapi’s first exposure to the profession began with an internship at the Dormitory Authority State of New York in 2012, where she worked as an intern construction project manager and field representative. She started working at Holzman Moss Bottino Architecture a year later when she joined as a junior designer. Her talent and commitment propelled her to her current role of senior project designer with Steinberg Hart. During this period, she developed a particular focus on arts and culture projects, with a specialization in performing arts centers.

Beyond her work at Steinberg Hart, Miss. Kasapi is an adjunct lecturer at the Spitzer School of Architecture at the City College of New York. She finds fulfillment in mentoring aspiring architects and is eager to expand her teaching opportunities. Her passion for education complements her professional pursuits, allowing her to inspire and shape the next generation of architects.

Miss. Kasapi’s academic background laid the foundation for her successful career. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, at the City College of New York, in 2015, having previously completed coursework in architectural technology at the New York City College of Technology in 2012.

Miss. Kasapi is also known for her commitment to community engagement. She has made notable contributions to local pet shelters, assisting them in acquiring supplies and necessities. Additionally, she independently completed a museum project in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, which earned several accolades, including the prestigious AIA Special Award for Structure from AIA Wisconsin.

Outside of her professional life, Miss. Kasapi enjoys reading, hiking, painting, and is passionate about animal welfare. She actively supports local initiatives that promote the well-being of animals. Looking to the future, she aims to further expand the impact of the Children’s Museum in Elizabeth by securing additional funding, ensuring the museum plays a significant role in shaping the futures of both young children and adults in the community. Miss Kasapi is equally excited to continue her teaching career and finds great satisfaction in helping students find their own paths to success.
