Ms. Firouzkouhi is a distinguished consultant specializing in oilfield technology, energy innovation, and marketing advisory. With over two decades of experience in the oilfield services and upstream chemicals production sectors, she has established herself as an expert in her field. Since 2021, Ms. Firouzkouhi has been advising companies domestically and internationally, where she provides strategic project guidance, market analysis, and sustainability strategies leveraging her extensive industry knowledge and expertise.

Before launching her consulting career, Ms. Firouzkouhi was the Vice President at Bolder Industries from 2020 to 2021, where she developed an innovative and sustainable solution applied across the oil and gas industry using recycled tires. Her earlier years at Baker Hughes Company spanned over 17 years, where she held several key roles. She began as a Laboratory Manager at the Taft Manufacturing Plant in California. She steadily advanced to positions of higher responsibility over the years, which involved relocations to Texas and Pennsylvania. In 2008, she served as Senior Chemist R&D Technology and Innovations, in 2010 as North America Senior Business Development, in 2014 as North America Operations Strategy and Market Development Manager, and in 2017 as a Senior Business Development and Market Analyst, to name a few.

Ms. Firouzkouhi’s contributions to the company included developing a patented product for dispersing iron sulfide scales in oil and gas production systems. In addition, she co-authored the Total System Approach Process Handbook for engineers responsible for reservoir performance, recovery, and operation costs.

Ms. Firouzkouhi gained experience early on as the director of the industrial and environmental laboratory at New Mexico Junior College from 1997 to 1999, where she worked closely with the president of the college and the New Mexico state representatives to secure funding for the lab that provided environmental health services to the community. She also taught chemistry at the University of Texas Permian Basin in Odessa, Texas, in 2000. Her dedication to education extended beyond the classroom as she provided additional support and mentorship to underprivileged students.

Ms. Firouzkouhi academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in chemistry with honors from Elmira College and coursework and research toward a doctorate in chemistry at Pennsylvania State University. Her educational foundation has been instrumental in her ability to innovate and excel in her career.

Beyond her professional life, Ms. Firouzkouhi is actively involved in civic organizations. She has been an ambassador for the Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) since 1998 and volunteers at the Jubilee Soup Kitchen in Pittsburgh during the holidays.

Ms. Firouzkouhi became an accomplished author with several publications to her name, including ‘Innovative and Sustainable Solution to Mitigate Asphaltene Deposition Utilizing Recycled Tires’ presented at the International Conference on Petroleum Phase Behavior and Fouling (PetroPhase) and ‘A New Chemical Treatment to Inhibit Iron Sulfide Deposition,’ which was subsequently presented at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) International Oilfield Scale Conference in Aberdeen, UK; and ‘Control and Removal of Downhole Interfacial Solids’ also presented at SPE in Aberdeen, UK just to name a few. Her work has contributed significantly to advancements in chemical treatments within the oil and gas industry.

Ms. Firouzkouhi’s achievements at Baker Hughes Company earned her numerous technology awards and recognitions for her work and her service as the chairperson of Technology Forum. She also received several appreciation awards for her commitment to community service. Ms. Firouzkouhi attributes her success to her disciplined upbringing, dedication, hard work, inquisitiveness, and seizing opportunities that came her way.
