Initially recruited by Land O’Lakes in 1992, Mr. Goode progressed from the director of sales and marketing of animal milk products, the general manager in 1997 and the vice president from 2000 to 2004 in this category and several subsidiaries. In 2004, he became the vice president of UMW/ECB/NE regions. Mr. Goode also found success as the vice president of commercial and lifestyle feeds between 2007 and 2010.
Mr. Goode’s earlier career included positions at International Mineral and Chemical’s veterinary products division as a regional sales manager from 1983 to 1987, product marketing manager between 1988 and 1989 and national sales manager from 1989 to 1992. He was in pharmaceutical sales at Astra Pharmaceuticals in 1981 to 1982 and began his career with Canada Packers in 1980.
Mr. Goode’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, with a focus on economics and engineering from the University of Alberta in 1980. This educational foundation has been pivotal in his ability to navigate complex business environments and drive innovation within the industry.
Throughout his career, Mr. Goode has been recognized for his contributions to the industry, most notably as an active member of the American Feed Industry Association.
