Mrs. Adegboyega is the executive director and owner of Care Support Services, a role she has held since 2018. In this capacity, she provides comprehensive care for adult patients with a variety of disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum and individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia. Her responsibilities include support coordination, support brokerage, and overseeing clients’ growth in their day programs, group homes, and community services. She also plays a pivotal role in facilitating employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities by providing referrals to the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.
Prior to establishing Care Support Services, Mrs. Adegboyega served as a senior project manager for aggregate safety reporting at Bristol Myers Squibb from 2020 to 2022. Concurrently, she was the drug safety associate (DSA) regional safety lead at Covance from 2016 to 2022. She began her tenure in drug safety as an associate at Symogen Limited from 2013 to 2014 and continued as a drug safety coordinator at Celgene from 2015 to 2016. Earlier in her career, she gained valuable experience as a graduate research associate at the Health Department of Clark from 2012 to 2013.
Mrs. Adegboyega’s professional journey includes important roles that laid the foundation for her management expertise. She worked as an assistant manager at Our House from 2010 to 2011 and as a support counselor at Community Access Unlimited from 2009 to 2010, which laid the early foundations for her management expertise. Her early career included positions as a direct support professional at Orchard Village from 2003 to 2007 and a secretarial role at Air France in 2001.
Mrs. Adegboyega’s academic background includes a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Walden University, completed in 2013, and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Chicago State University, earned in 2004. She also gained valuable undergraduate research experience at CSU from 2003 to 2006 and pursued nursing coursework at Essex County College. Her education has been instrumental in her success, providing her with the knowledge and skills necessary for her public health and healthcare management roles.
Mrs. Adegboyega is actively involved in civic organizations and projects that reflect her commitment to community service. She has been a distributor for Feed My Starving Children/Widows since 2014 and supports educational initiatives through her nongovernmental organization in Nigeria.
To stay aware of developments and needs within the field and her community, Mrs. Adegboyega is a member of the New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP), the New Jersey Public Health Association and the American Public Health Association. In addition to her professional achievements, she was honored as an ambassador in her home country and received an award for her outstanding service.
In her personal life, Mrs. Adegboyega is a devoted mother of three children who enjoys swimming and spending quality time with her friends and family. She aims to expand her philanthropic efforts by opening an orphanage to support abandoned children and those who have experienced neglect or abuse. With aspirations to collaborate with others sharing similar goals, she wants to establish a nurturing environment for orphans, widows, and people with disabilities, providing them with essential resources such as food, education, and clothing.
