Before embarking on her successful career in residential real estate, Ms. McClaren held several positions that showcased her commitment to serving others. From 2016 to 2017, she was a team lead and supervisor at Intermountain Centers for Human Development in Tucson, Arizona. She also worked as a substance abuse and alcohol case manager, group facilitator, and adult SMI dedicated case manager at COPE Community Services Inc. in Tucson between 2014 and 2016. Ms. McClaren’s journey in social work began at Wingspan in Tucson, where she was a youth programs manager and homeless youth project coordinator from 2013 to 2014. Earlier in her career, she served as an after-school program director and youth minister at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Silver City, New Mexico, dating back to 2011. This was where Ms. McClaren first realized her passion for advocating for others and her path of helping others achieve their goals.

Ms. McClaren attended the University of Arizona undergraduate studies program in comparative religions from 2003-2006 and achieved her Master of Arts in religious education from Trinity University in 2010. In 2011, Heather L. McClaren received her ordination and licensing as a non-denominational Interfaith Minister from Trinity University. Highly qualified in her present field, she holds a license as an Arizona real estate broker and is also a REALTOR®. Additionally, Ms. McClaren’s commitment to excellence is further evidenced by her membership in several industry-related organizations, including the Tucson Association of REALTORS®, the Arizona Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, which have been instrumental in providing her with a platform to stay abreast of industry trends.

Attaining advanced certifications throughout her career allowed her to provide the best possible advocacy to her clients, with knowledge being the cornerstone of any good professional. Ms. McClaren earned certifications as a/an: E-Pro in Internet Professionalism, Senior Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyers Representative, and Seller’s Representative Specialist in 2020. In 2021, she received her Resort and Second-home Property Specialist and At Home with Diversity certifications, and in 2023, she received her C2EX, REALTORS® Committed to Excellence certification.

Beyond her career and academic accomplishments, Ms. McClaren is actively involved in various civic-minded organizations. She sponsors the Watershed Management Group in Tucson, volunteers there as a Flow365 Monitor, and sponsors the Pima Animal Care Center and adopts feral dogs from PACC. Ms. McClaren supports multiple local, non-profit, and service organizations through her membership and sponsorship of the Long Cares Foundation, as well as multiple national and international charities. Her favorite charity involvements are those helping the earth, those experiencing homelessness, animals, and all those most at risk in our communities.

In light of her real estate accomplishments, Ms. McClaren was recognized early in her career with a Rising Star Award in 2018 and has been named to the Chairman’s Club Award among the top 25% of her peers for the last five years, beginning in 2019. Heather L. McClaren aims to expand her business further while upholding high service standards within the industry, allowing her to advocate for, provide education to, and empower even more of the Tucson community in their real estate endeavors. Heather L. McClaren has realized a contentment in service that she would like to continue until she retires and begins volunteering more in her community.
