Mr. Eldridge has cultivated a diverse and accomplished career, showcasing his adaptability and expertise. Entering 2025 Jacob is starting as a sales engineer for Protection Solutions with Doble Engineering, and will be servicing North America. Since 2024, he has served as the south central district sales engineer for Chauvin Arnoux, Inc. d.b.a. AEMC Instruments in Tennessee, which spans Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and several other states. Before pivoting into his role, he briefly worked as a technical trainer for sales in the U.S. and Canada earlier that year. Mr. Eldridge’s journey with Chauvin Arnoux, Inc. reflects his commitment to advancing in engineering and sales.
Before joining AEMC, Mr. Eldridge was an electrical field engineer and testing SME at Bechtel Corporation from 2022 to 2024. His tenure at Bechtel Corporation was preceded by his role as a field service technician/site manager at Qualus Power Services between 2020 and 2022. Mr. Eldridge also worked as a NETA testing technician for several organizations between 2019 and 2020, including ABM Industries, Titan Quality Power Services LLC and Saber Power Services LLC. His early career included roles as an electrical apparatus technician at Burns & McDonnell in Houston from 2018 to 2019 and as a commissioning wind turbine technician at FieldCore in Texas and New Mexico, in 2018.
Mr. Eldridge’s professional journey began with his military service in the U.S. Navy. He served as an Electrician’s Mate 3rd Class for Submarine Maintenance in San Diego from 2015 to 2016 on the ARCO after excelling as a repair parts petty officer and maintenance technician in Virginia Beach, Virginia, from 2011 to 2015 for EODESU2. His foundational training occurred during boot camp and A-School from 2010 to 2011 and earned his Expeditionary Warfare Pin while at EODESU2. The skills and discipline acquired during his military service have shaped Mr. Eldridge’s career trajectory.
In preparation for his future, Mr. Eldridge received an Associate of Science in electrical engineering technologies from San Jacinto College in 2018. He also continues in technical studies, with focus on electronics and systems engineering technologies, at Thomas Edison State University, as well as nuclear and electrical testing Continuing ED courses.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Eldridge is actively involved in civic organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity building houses for disabled veterans. He also contributes to his local church initiatives, like Christmas Trees for single mothers as well as clothing and toy drives for children in need.
Mr. Eldridge’s dedication to service has been exemplified by his awards, including the Bluejacket of the Quarter and a Naval and Marine Corps Achievement Medal from the U.S. Navy. His civilian success has also earned him the VCM Project Award for Formosa Plastics from Qualus Power Services. Eager to start consulting and mentoring Protection Solutions at Doble Engineering, Mr. Eldridge aims to continue progressing and taking on new challenges where he can make a more significant impact. He also intends to obtain an Electrical PE license and teach at the collegiate level.
