Ms. Hooper’s role involves working directly with major oil and gas companies, such as Shell, Equinor, and Total, to support their efforts in reducing carbon emissions and enhancing operational efficiency. Before being recruited for her leadership position at Siemens Energy, Ms. Hooper held several critical roles at TechnipFMC and FMC Technologies Inc. between 2004 and 2019. Initially acquired as a tender project manager, she became a program manager of technology and portfolio manager of subsea systems. In recent years, she was promoted to vice president of global key accounts and vice president of subsea processing. Ms. Hooper’s career before FMC included working in projects and sales at SOFEC Inc. from 1998 to 2004.

Ms. Hooper’s academic background included a Bachelor of Arts in international studies from the University of South Alabama in 1998 and a Master of Business Administration in international business and marketing from the University of Saint Thomas in Houston in 2002.

Born into a family involved in the oil and gas industry, Ms. Hooper initially sought a different path but eventually found her passion within the same field. Her mother’s advice to find a career that could support her graduate education led her to SOFEC Inc. while pursuing her graduate degree. This experience ignited Ms. Hooper’s dedication to environmental preservation and safe technology practices.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Hooper is actively involved in donating to civic organizations, such as the YMCA and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. She is also the author of the publication “Taking the Next Step in Offshore Digitalization,” which explores advancements in digital technology within the offshore industry.
