Before establishing his consulting firm, Mr. Jones was a senior systems engineer at Rite Solutions from 2021 to 2022. In this role, he was instrumental in implementing model-based systems engineering in two pilot projects for the U.S. Navy, a significant achievement that required coordinating engineering efforts across teams and introducing a new approach to daily work. Between 2017 and 2021, Mr. Jones worked as a systems engineer and schedule coordinator at M.C. Dean Inc., where he honed his skills in construction and scheduling. Earlier in his career, he was a systems engineer at the University of Maryland from 2016 to 2017, a field engineer at Whiting-Turner between 2015 and 2016, and a microbiology researcher at the U.S. Department of Agriculture from 2012 to 2013.
Mr. Jones’s educational journey, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in chemical and biomolecular engineering and a Master of Science in systems engineering from the University of Maryland, has been instrumental in his career. His academic achievements, coupled with certifications such as a certified modeling professional and model builder through the Object Management Group and a certified Primavera P6 scheduler through Oracle, underscore his commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Throughout his career, Mr. Jones has been actively involved in industry-related organizations, such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the International Council on Systems Engineering.
