In preparation for his career in health care, Dr. Brown acquired a Bachelor of Science in 1991 and a Master of Science in 2015, a Master of Science in infection prevention and control from Post University in 2020, respectively, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Liberty University in 2023. His professional credentials include a registered nurse and licensed nurse practitioner designation, infection control, critical care nursing, and certification in higher education teaching, further underscoring his expertise and dedication to his profession.

A member of several industry-related organizations, Dr. Brown is affiliated with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology and Doctors of Nursing Practice of Color. These memberships reflect his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field and contributing to the broader medical community. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Brown is actively involved in civic-minded organizations and fundraising initiatives, such as the American Red Cross’s blood drive.

Dr. Brown’s contributions have been recognized with several awards, including Best Research Presentation for Reducing Medication Errors in Inpatient Hospitals from Doctors of Nursing Practice of Color in 2023 and the Best Antibiotics Stewardship Award in 2024. He attributes his success to his ambition and faith.
