Before becoming a managing director, Ms. Boswell’s journey at KPMG began in 2014 when she joined as a senior associate. Within a year, her exceptional skills and dedication led to her promotion to manager. She continued to excel, taking on roles such as operations lead and director of cyber security services. Since 2022, she has been leading AI security services, traveling frequently across the U.S. to assist organizations in establishing and maintaining trust in their AI systems. Ms. Boswell’s commitment to fostering community within KPMG is evident through her leadership of initiatives like leading the Women in Cybersecurity community, which support women in the predominantly male industry.
Before her tenure at KPMG, Ms. Boswell held several key positions contributing to her expertise. From 2009 to 2014, she was the director of IT infrastructure at a leading provider of global philanthropy solutions, where she honed her skills in managing complex IT environments. She was also a senior engineer at LBMC, a top 50 accounting firm in the U.S., between 2005 and 2008 and an IT manager at NetAid, a nonprofit organization that was founded by Cisco Systems and the United Nations, from 2002 to 2003. Ms. Boswell’s early career included roles as a systems administrator at Razorfish between 2000 and 2002 and IT manager at Watch World International from 1998 to 2000.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Boswell is actively involved in civic organizations. She serves on committees for The Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania and is an advisory board member for Shared Assessments and Identiverse. Ms. Boswell’s commitment to the community extends to supporting her daughter’s involvement in a local nonprofit cheer organization, where she coordinates fundraising events that ensure the organization can continue to thrive.
Ms. Boswell attributes much of her success to the mentorship and support from colleagues and family members who understood the challenges of balancing a demanding career with family responsibilities.
