NEW YORK, NY, March 25, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ — Katya Leonovich has been included in Marquis Who’s Who. As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Leonovich is an accomplished artist and the owner of Leonovich Gallery, where she engages in the creative processes of painting, sketching and designing both art and fashion. Her gallery serves as a hub for artistic expression and engaging interaction and allows her to connect with fellow artists as well as the public. A recent exhibition, inspired by country music, exemplified her passion for blending art with music, and this event provided opportunities to connect with musicians and further immerse herself in the vibrant world of creativity. Previously, Ms. Leonovich launched a show called “American Renaissance,” which reflects her discovery of America and her sense of feeling at home in the country.
In addition to her role at Leonovich Gallery, Ms. Leonovich has excelled as the head designer at Zoobson LLC since 2009. Her expertise in fashion is well-recognized regionally and nationally, and she has advanced her presence in the industry by dressing figures such as Cyndi Lauper and Carrie Underwood, which she counts as a notable career achievement. Despite the significant publicity her fashion work has garnered, Ms. Leonovich finds her true fulfillment in art and looks forward to dedicating more time to this passion in the future.
Ms. Leonovich’s career is further enriched by her sustained membership in prestigious organizations such as the National Association of Women Artists Inc., a supportive community for female creatives, and The National Arts Club. These affiliations reflect her commitment to supporting women artists and fostering a community where their talents can be duly celebrated. She is deeply committed to continuing education and completed coursework at an art school and a fashion academy in Russia and Italy, but Ms. Leonovich attributes her achievements mostly to determination, an American spirit of perseverance and self-reliance, and she celebrates having secured self-made success by drawing inspiration from her parents’ careers as a poet and a journalist.
Throughout her career, Ms. Leonovich has humbly accepted numerous accolades, including being named the 2000 Designer of the Year in her home country of Russia. She was also a finalist in the Smirnoff International Patrons Awards and the Supima Cotton Designers Competition in New York and was named the Best Designer at the Mittelmoda Fashion Awards. Notably, she remains dedicated to supporting female artists by promoting their talents, and recognizing their underrepresentation in museums, Ms. Leonovich aims to establish a museum in New York to showcase their work and forge productive connections.
