Mr. Krutsch’s career began with his service as a sergeant and acting squad leader in the U.S. Army from 1984 to 1987. Following his military service, he transitioned into the technology sector, where he held significant roles. From 1996 to 2000, he served as a user interface software architect and a team and technical lead at StorageTek. He then moved to Digi International as a user interface software architect and technical lead between 1999 and 2000. Subsequently, Mr. Krutsch became the chief technology officer at Matrix Technologies, a position he held until 2003. He then served as the chief technology officer at SoniqCast LLC from 2003 to 2004. Additionally, Mr. Krutsch worked for Xiotech between 2004 and 2009, beginning as a software architect and director of applications. He was then promoted to vice president of engineering, a role he held until 2009 before becoming the senior vice president of operations and managing director at Xiotech India Pvt Ltd.
In addition to his corporate roles, Mr. Krutsch contributed to academia as an adjunct faculty member at Saint Paul College, a two-year community and technical college in Saint Paul, Minnesota, from 1997 to 2002. He taught a night class and developed the curriculum for the institution’s first Java programming course.
Mr. Krutsch’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota. He has also obtained several certifications through LinkedIn.
Besides his primary career endeavors, Mr. Krutsch has been active on the graphic design, web design, and interactive media advisory committee at Minneapolis College since 2021.
