Mr. Cai’s career began after he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business management from Fudan University in Shanghai. His early professional journey included roles as a business consultant and marketing manager for Kodak Greater China, where he gained valuable insights from world-class professors, industry experts, and bestselling authors in the fields of leadership, marketing, sales management, and human resources. These experiences inspired him to evolve from an innovator into an integrator, merging knowledge from international experts to create new interdisciplinary subjects.
In 2006, Mr. Cai co-founded the Wilner Sales and Leadership Institute with Jack Wilner, a renowned trainer, speaker, and author of the “Sales Management Bible.” This collaboration marked a significant milestone in Mr. Cai’s career as he transitioned into a full-time consultant, trainer, and writer. In 2010, he joined the Perth Leadership Institute as a global partner and chief consultant for the China region, further solidifying his influence in the industry.
Mr. Cai is also a founding member of the Alliance of Sales Managers in China, reflecting his commitment to advancing the field of sales management. His dedication to research and integration has led to several notable achievements, including contributing to six books that have been published in multiple editions. Two of these works have been translated into English and published in the United States, broadening their impact.
Among his publications are “Selling in Customer Service,” which won the Golden Gull Award from the Industrial Chamber of Commerce of China, and “Gearshifting Leadership,” recognized as one of the top 10 influential leadership books in China by the Management Science Academy of China. His other works include “Soft Negotiation,” “Blue Marketing and Red Sales,” “Key Controlling Points of Sales Management,” and “Road Map of Strategic Selling.”
Mr. Cai’s contributions have earned him numerous accolades, such as Writer of the Year by Business Management Publishing House of China, Best Selling Writer of 40 Years by Fortune Press of China, and recognitions as a Top Ten Highly Recognized Business Consultant in China, a Leading Figure in China’s Training and Consulting Industry, and a Top Ten Most Influential Chinese Trainer.
Born in Shanghai, Mr. Cai enjoys spending time with his family—including his spouse Cris Yu and their two daughters—and engaging in activities such as cooking, racing, and participating on local school committees.
