Ms. Esquilin began her career with Bally Total Fitness, where she was recognized as one of the top salespeople from 2008 to 2010. She also completed a decade of military service as an operational specialist in ship navigation communications with the United States Navy, during which she received accolades such as the Navy Captain Coin and the EP (Early Promote) Award.
Academically, Ms. Esquilin holds a bachelor’s degree in physical education from Fayetteville State University, earned in 2012, and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Southwestern Community College, completed in 2008. While she played basketball in both college and the Navy, an accumulation of injuries ultimately left her unable to run. As a result, she began pursuing her long-held passion for bodybuilding in 2011.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Esquilin’s community involvement includes volunteering with Daily Walk Ministries, where she is a licensed evangelist and participates in initiatives to feed the homeless. Additionally, she has shared her experiences as a speaker at women’s empowerment events and on podcasts, further solidifying her role as an advocate for personal transformation and growth.
In her personal life, Ms. Esquilin is a devoted mother of four children and enjoys spending time with friends, dining out, playing pool and card games and visiting the beach. Looking to the future, she aims to continue transforming amateur athletes into professionals and aspires to cater her gym to powerlifting and bodybuilding enthusiasts as well as newcomers. She strives to be among the top coaches in the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation League and is currently training to compete at Olympia, the world’s most prestigious professional bodybuilding competition.
