Marquis Who’s Who Honors Lynda Kennepp for Tenure in Physical Therapy and Medical Equipment Manufacturing

As in all Marquis Who’s Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Dr. Kennepp draws on over 25 years of professional success as a physical therapist to her success today as the vice president of medical and professional affairs at Mölnlycke in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Initially joining the organization in 2016 as a senior clinical specialist for the state of Texas, she received promotions as an area clinical specialist manager in Houston from 2019 to 2022 and as an area clinical specialist director in Norcross, Georgia, between 2021 and 2022. Mölnlycke is recognized as an established medical equipment manufacturing company.

As vice president, Dr. Kennepp oversees the MPA department across the Americas and is responsible for building and sustaining a team of clinical specialists throughout the U.S., Canada, and Latin America. Additionally, she frequently travels with her team for various fieldwork opportunities. More recently, Dr. Kennepp’s organization began operations in Brazil in 2023. Although Mölnlycke has a dedicated clinical head for Canada and Latin America, they are still building the team.

Before joining Mölnlycke, Dr. Kennepp was a physical therapist for several other organizations, including West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in Louisiana, Arkansas Lymphedema and Therapy Providers in North Little Rock, and CHI Saint Vincent in Little Rock. She also worked as a senior physical therapist and supervisor for CHRISTUS Health in Beaumont, Texas.

Drawing inspiration from making a difference in people’s lives, Dr. Kennepp relishes hearing individuals tell her she has impacted them somehow. Looking toward the future, she aims to develop her leadership skills and become a global vice president, where she can lead international teams and have a more significant influence.

Dr. Kennepp received a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1993 and a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2015. She is presently pursuing an executive master’s degree in business from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.

Continually committed to her field, Dr. Kennepp is active in the American Physical Therapy Association, the Wound Healing Society, and the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care. She is also a member of the S3I committee of the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel.

In light of her success, Dr. Kennepp has received a Magnet Award, Outstanding Therapy Award, and Outstanding Senior Physical Therapy Student of the Year Award. She attributes her success to her dedication and permitting herself to make and learn from mistakes.
