Before his present position, Mr. Conway was the senior director and head of talent acquisition and workforce planning for the organization. Having come from Bluebird Bio, Mr. Conway was the director of recruiting programs from 2020 to 2021. His journey in talent acquisition also included high-level roles such as senior director and head of talent acquisition at TriMark USA between 2019 and 2020 and senior manager of global talent attraction at SharkNinja from 2017 to 2019. Mr. Conway also served as a senior talent acquisition partner at SharkNinja between 2015 and 2017 and a corporate recruiter at Boston Beer Company from 2013 to 2014. Earlier on, he worked as a sourcing specialist in talent acquisition at Keurig Green Mountain Inc. in 2012 after beginning his recruitment career as a technical recruiter at Oxford Global Resources earlier that year.
Before pivoting into recruiting, Mr. Conway taught anatomy and physiology to high school students at Boston Public Schools from 2008 to 2010.
Throughout his recruiting career, Mr. Conway has developed a proven track record in building and leading talent departments, helping companies scale their talent functions to meet global business objectives. His expertise encompasses talent attraction, acquisition, development, onboarding, and workforce planning.
Mr. Conway received a bachelor’s degree in human physiology from Boston University in 2008. His academic background laid the foundation for his interest in biotechnology and pharmacy. He has further enhanced his skills through LinkedIn certifications, holds certifications as a predictive index licensed analyst, and is a certified people-sourcing professional.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Conway is actively involved in civic organizations as the president of a youth baseball program in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
