Ms. Raczek initially worked as a registered nurse at HealthPartners Park Nicollet from 2002 to 2004 and a private-duty elder services registered nurse during that same period. Her passion for diverse experiences led her to become a travel registered nurse with AMN Healthcare between 2004 and 2010, where she covered several areas such as medical, surgical, oncology, rehabilitation, and cardiology.

From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Raczek simultaneously worked for Caregivers Home Care as a registered nurse supervisor. While working toward her master’s degree, she accepted a nursing informatics specialist role at Harrington Memorial Hospital under UMass Memorial Health between 2010 and 2012, which sparked her interest in data and informatics. This pivotal experience ultimately led her to a career in healthcare informatics consulting. Ms. Raczek also found success as a senior public health nurse at the Larimer County Department of Health and Environment from 2021 to 2022, where she took on a per diem supervisor position to manage the county COVID-19 vaccine clinic effort in response to the pandemic. Despite the significant time commitment, she felt fulfilled by the experience and stepped away once the clinics and health departments could handle vaccination schedules and operations independently.

Ms. Raczek’s career journey began after she completed her Bachelor of Arts in nursing from Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, in 2002. She later returned to college, acquiring a Master of Science in nursing education at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, in 2012. She is a certified registered nurse in the State of Colorado by the Department of Regulatory Agencies. Ms. Raczek is an active member of her professional community and maintains membership with both the American Nursing Informatics Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Ms. Raczek’s professional achievements include consistently securing multimillion-dollar funding for hospitals year after year. Additionally, her contract work at a hospital in Salinas, California, and with clinics in the Monterey County area focuses on enhancing the public health system through process improvement models. These outstanding achievements earned recognition as one of the top three hospitals in the state for meeting various quality measures. Throughout her career, Ms. Raczek’s contributions have significantly impacted public health systems and hospital operations while inspiring future generations through her commitment to excellence and resilience.

Inspired by her family’s century-long legacy in nursing, Ms. Raczek attributes her success to the strong, resilient women who have influenced her throughout her life.
