In 2021, she launched Linking the Gap Counseling Services with her co-founder Jennifer Walker and has since been dedicated to reducing barriers and enhancing access to mental health services in the region. In her leadership capacity, Ms. Roth expertly manages company operations, including financial operations, and partners with Ms. Walker to provide training for interns across social work and mental health platforms while offering direct services to the community.
Before founding Linking the Gap Counseling Services, Ms. Roth honed her skills as a licensed mental health professional at a social services organization. Her role involved supervising other professionals and serving as an accreditation surveyor. Additionally, she worked as an alcohol and drug counselor, further broadening her expertise in addressing complex mental health challenges. This extensive background has equipped Ms. Roth with the unique skill set necessary to effectively support individuals on their mental health journeys.
Ms. Roth’s academic achievements have played a crucial role in her advancement. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Minot State University in 1997, followed by a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Arts in human resources from Colorado Technical University in 2002. In 2012, Ms. Roth pursued additional graduate work and completed a Master of Arts in clinical counseling at Bellevue University. This critical training has forged a strong foundation for her pursuits, enabling her to excel as a business owner and therapist. Additionally, Ms. Roth’s commitment to professional development and lifelong learning is reflected in her certification as a licensed mental health professional.
Ms. Roth attributes much of her success to the guidance of fantastic supervisors with whom she has partnered throughout her career. Notably, she remains deeply motivated toward civic engagement and humbly provides pro bono services to those who cannot afford mental health care. Outside of her career, she enjoys spending time with animals, particularly her cats and dogs, as well as bird watching and engaging in outdoor activities. She also cherishes time spent with her family.
