Dr. Goel’s career is marked by significant contributions to child and adolescent psychiatry. From 2019 to 2023, she worked as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Kaiser Permanente, providing exceptional care to young patients in the critical COVID19 era. Previously, she had a private practice stint at Woodmont Psychiatric Association in 2018 – 2019. Ritu made academic contributions during her tenure on the Faculty of The Johns Hopkins University in the school of medicine from 2014 to 2017. Concurrently, she treated minors with developmental disability cases at the Kennedy Krieger Institute while participating in various clinical trials.
In 2001, Dr. Goel had earned a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Sarojini Naidu Medical College in Agra. She moved to England to train in and practice psychiatry with the National Health Service (NHS) in England from 2003 to 2009. Her pursuit of specialized knowledge led her to a residency in general psychiatry at the University at Buffalo (UB) in 2012, followed by a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2014. At UB, she notably served as a chief resident in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In preparation of launching MindClaire, Dr. Goel completed an executive program in AI at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Professional Education in 2023. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Integrative Psychiatry at Dream Practice Academy.
Dr. Goel’s expertise in medical research, and clinical psychiatry has been widely recognized throughout her career.
