His role involved overseeing safety protocol program delivery and ensuring knowledge of compliance with industry standards. Previously, he served as supervisor of environmental health and safety and employee development at Angstrom Automotive Group LLC in Englewood, OH, from 2023 to 2024, where his responsibilities included designing and implementing training modules that improved operational efficiency and enhanced employee skills and workplace safety.
Mr. Woodruff began his career at Clopay Corporation in Troy, OH, serving initially as a call center training specialist before advancing to the role of plant training supervisor in Troy, OH, from 2012 to 2022. During this period, he played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s training initiatives, new hire retention, and overall operational effectiveness. This role laid the foundation for his future endeavors in mixing the coaching philosophy with the need to create professionals who have the skills to properly communicate the “why” behind the standards. His dedication to enhancing understanding and knowledge transfer set the stage for his subsequent achievements.
Alongside his career experience, Mr. Woodruff holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Western Governors University, and he is pursuing a Master of Business Administration to complement his expertise. Mr. Woodruff is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, a certification he obtained in 2024, and he holds an ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems certification from BSI, earned in 2023.
